On October 8, 1995, on a day never to be forgotten by Baltimore Catholics, Pope John Paul II finished his October 4-8 visit to our nation’s East Coast with a 10-hour long stop in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. This whirlwind visit included Mass at Oriole Park at Camden Yards and the choir was led by none other than Fernando Allen.  Fernando has opened for some of the true greats, but this moment was an honor that can never be forgotten.
